Our very own Lily Oglesby, KWS Spanish teacher, is offering a wonderful opportunity for up to 8 children to join her in after-school ballet/creative movement classes. Having received her MFA in Dance from Wilson College, Lily is a former ballerina and currently teaches dance at Dickinson College and at Northampton Community College. Lily will bring her love of dance as she introduces the foundations of ballet while also exploring creative movement in a 5-session series.

Participants will be led through a gentle warm-up, introduction to hip, torso, and foot movements, and will culminate with a fun combination followed by a gentle cooldown. Warm up, movement patterns that culminate in a brief combination, cool down, and time to socialize. Class attire is barefoot or soft shoes/slippers and comfortable athletic clothing. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Instructed by KWS parent, Lisa Moss, who is an experienced instructor and performer of both cabaret and folkloric genres of Middle Eastern Dance.
